Curious Miscellany is a new body of work by Natalia Milosz-Piekarska that explores the enigmatic curio from times and places unknown.
"I'm particularly interested in talismanic and amuletic adornment with the notion that an object can house a spirit or intrinsic power."
Using bold shapes, colours, and carefully selected materials such as silver, gold, beads, timber, and collected objects, Natalia assumes the role of part alchemist, part anthropologist, juxtaposing fact with fiction, creating unique curious miscellany.
